This photograph caught me by surprise. After a fabulous show at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills, by the visionary British artist/designer Zandra Rhodes, followers of fashion, and the usual press assigned to cover such events, gathered at the glamourous reception in her honour.There were numerous recognizable faces from the world of arts/entertainment, as well as unrecognizable CEOs, and bank presidents. I had them lined up to photograph, relying on my camera carrying comrades to identify. When in walked David Byrne, accompanying his lovely model girlfriend (now wife), and without hesitation, my camera was aimed to shoot. My fellow photographers followed suit; a couple of them throwing me a quizical look, mouthing, "WHO IS THAT?" It led me to think, that, perhaps celebrity, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder
