| This photograph was taken while working on a story for the 'View' section of the Los Angeles Times, featuring a chic nightclub in Beverly Hills, where certain v.i.p.s could often be found engrossed in a game of backgammon. I had been told that Lucille Ball would be there and should be photographed so i thought that i was prepared for the occasion. Nevertheless, for a couple of moments i found myself just standing and grinning at 'I Love Lucy', sitting right there in front of me.
